Saturday October 29th 2016 the last passenger plane took off from Rygge airport outside Moss, Norway. The terminal had been in use from 2007, handling close to two million passengers a year. Arrival hall and other public areas are the way they were when the last plane took off. Information displays are black, other electronic equipment is intact but disconnected.The empty parking plant is unlocked, but is not illuminated except for some areas where glimpses of daylight get through. Signs, arrows, and markings provide clear messages about prescribed behaviour, but there are no recipients.
